TBSolaro has implemented several solar power projects for schools in Cuba, where unstable grid electricity directly affects teaching and learning activities. Power outages prevent essential equipment such as lighting, fans, and computers from operating consistently, disrupting the learning process.
Depending on actual conditions, TBSolaro proposes two suitable solutions:
- Off-grid system: ideal for areas with weak or frequently unavailable grid power. This solution operates completely independently, using solar energy combined with battery storage, allowing schools to fully control their electricity supply and ensure continuous operation.
- Hybrid system: suitable for schools that still have grid access but experience instability. This system combines solar energy, battery storage, and grid power, enabling flexible switching between sources while optimizing costs and ensuring reliable electricity.
Implementing the right system helps maintain a stable learning environment and ensures uninterrupted teaching activities.
